New faces at PointX
Points of Interest provider PointX has announced 2 new appointments to its database team based in Exeter. Geography graduate Lindsay Ferris joins the production team and former geologist Ian Woolnough takes up the post of Operations Manager. At board level, Duncan Shiell replaces David Willey who has moved to Bournemouth University as Pro Vice-Chancellor. He joins Ed Parsons as the second Ordnance Survey representative alongside James Cadoux-Hudson and Christopher Roper from Landmark Information Group. "We anticipate more new faces as the database grows," says Peter Staniczenko, Managing Director at PointX. "Maintaining more than 3 million points of interest and adding new features is sure to keep everyone on their toes".
